Features and Benefits
The SDS Form E Assessment Booklet is an easy-to-use, self-administered inventory that helps individuals find occupations best suiting their interests, educational level and skills. Individuals answer simple questions about their likes and dislikes, their competencies, the jobs they find interesting and their personal abilities. Using a simplified scoring system, the SDS Form E generates a two-letter Summary Code (instead of the usual three-letter code) for each user. With this code the user can search the Jobs Finder for jobs with matching or similar codes.
The Jobs Finder focuses on job requirements that closely match the vocational aspirations of individuals with limited reading ability. It includes over 860 jobs with prompts and cues to encourage full vocational exploration.
You and Your Job Booklet gives users additional insight into potential job paths.
Revised and updated based on Form E user feedback, this version more closely reflects the interests of individuals at lower educational levels. This 4th edition of Form E includes the following changes:
